Midweek Review (5 Nov 2008)

Celtic vs Manchester United

"Man Utd just need one more point to qualify due to goal difference, even if they lose the next 3 games.
-Gary, 05 Nov 2008

Aiyo, Man Utd show too much respect to Hull City already. 4-1 up and Man Utd players' heads start to inflate. In the end, they are very lucky to nick a win.

Now we are back to Champions League action with 3 games to go. 7 points and sharing the other qualification spot to the next round is Villarreal. Celtic has only a solitary point and Aalborg did well to hold Celtic to a draw in the first game. Still cannot say "technically qualified to the next round"?

You may say im arrogant in my review. But Man Utd just need one more point to qualify due to goal difference, even if they lose the next 3 games. Aalborg still need to visit Old Trafford. Man Utd home form is still unbeaten. Celtic have not open their account in this season Champions League.

I have a feeling Fergie might opt for a 2nd team as he wants to inflict more damages to Arsenal this coming weekend.

Celtic Team News: Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink and Georgios Samaras are out.

Man Utd Team News: Wes Brown, Gary Neville and Edwin van der Sar will be rested. Ben Foster or Tomasz Kuszczak will be featured tonight.

Odds and Analysis: Man Utd is giving 0.75 handicap at 1.9. There is chances you could win half or full stake. Go for it.
