Results - World Cup 2018 Prediction League - Day 25 (Final)

In the end, it was Deschamp's Les Bleus who fulfilled their nation's dreams of a repeat triumph on the final day of World Cup 2018. Bien Joue and Felicitations! Croatia has much to be proud of despite their defeat, although reality for a few of their players will sink in sooner rather than later.

KingMeng had already won the WC2018 Prediction League with a game to spare, but the final also saw ihawk98 confirm his Marksmen Board title, along with achieving the only "Perfect 10" this round. Congratulations!!!

Congratulations to KingMeng for being crowned champion of the World Cup 2018 Prediction League!!! Well done!!!

While we witnessed Belgium achieve their best ever World Cup run on Day 24 of Russia 2018, KingMeng secured the PPL throne beyond the reach of every other contender with the final match remaining. He now joins ianrush and ihawk98 as one of only three players to have three PPL titles.    

As we look forward to the unexpected clash between France and Croatia, our attention is also drawn to the Marksmen Board. Will ihawk98 hold on to top honors or will Voxeros snatch one final exact scoreline to force the spoils to be shared?

Once again, Day 22 & 23 of World Cup 2018 brought back a familiar feeling of disappointment and dejection to all EPL fans. Gareth Southgate's men were found wanting when it mattered despite a credible overall performance throughout the competition. To quote an oft-used phrase by all Scousers, there's always the next World Cup.

Interestingly enough, KingMeng's potential third PPL title is still being mathematically contested although only 2 more matches remain. 

Congratulations to Voxeros and cool402 for accurately predicting the score at Luzhniki Stadium to also keep the Marksmen Board race open as we head into the climax of this amazing tournament.

Day 21 of Russia 2018 brought heartbreak and tears to the tournament hosts as their fairy-tale comes to a screeching halt. In the meantime, the Three Lions continue to keep all EPL fans believing with their victory over the Scandinavians. KingMeng is still the leader with four match predictions remaining, but ihawk98's point haul last evening makes him the closest challenger.
