Nobody could have predicted how Day 14 of World Cup 2018 would unfold, least of all Germany fans around the globe. Even the result at Yekaterinburg was unbelievable, while bookies everywhere rejoiced. KingMeng continues to extend his lead at the top of the table, being the only 6-pointer last evening.

It was a slew of surprise results once again as Day 12 of World Cup 2018 shows just how unpredictable this tournament can be. We saw Iran and Morocco put up valiant fights against favourites Portugal and former champions Spain to hold them to well-deserved draws, but only to be shown the exit. Back in Group A, Saudi Arabia managed to eke out a win against Egypt even though both nations have already been sent packing.

With Day 11 being the halfway point of Russia 2018, we say thank you to Panama and Poland for their participation and await the England - Belgium clash with great interest. All teams have now completed their second group match and are either packing up to go home or preparing for their last battle to go down to the final whistle. 

England's goal harvest against Panama made the first prediction practically meaningless, but the subsequent 2 games did provide some variance in the results. Special mention to edwinsng for being the only one to correctly predict a draw for the Japan - Senegal encounter.
