Fixture Focus - Spurs (7 November 2008)

Spurs vs Dinamo Zagreb (UEFA Cup, Group D)

Clash of the Croatians!

Croatian League leaders Dinamo Zagreb pay a visit to White Hart Lane this week for our 2nd group match in the UEFA Cup.  After losing to Udinese in the first match, Spurs needs to get 3 points from this home tie and we will be relying heavily on the player intell that Luka Modric provides on his former teammates.

The visitors are now helmed by Mario Manzukic, a 22 year old Croatian international striker and Pedro Morales, a 23 year old Chilean attacking midfielder assuming the role that Modric had in the team.

Redknapp again has limited choices for striking options and will probably have to start Bent alone up front.  Modric will relish showing his former team a lesson or two and Redknapp's tactics will take full advantage of this dimunitive midfielder.  Corluka is also cup-tied so I am hopeful that Hutton is ready to go and King is also available if his knees can take the punishment.

COYS!!!
