Fixture Focus - Spurs (29 Oct 2008)

Arsenal FC vs Tottenham Hotspur

What an apt timing for this fixture!

After adios Senor Ramos (and Commoli, and Poyet, though I miss him), we brought on Harry Potter, er, I mean Redknapp, and his arrival had brought much cheer to us Spurs fans against Bolton over the weekend (and I don't think the word "expelliarmus" got to do with it) with a resounding 2-0 win.

And in the coming crunch, we would be meeting the team-whose-name-must-not-be-spoken (but in case you're interested, it's called ArseNAL), who had a history of rivalry with our fellow fans at the Lane.

Spurs' "downtime" may be over (I certainly hope so), but this game (and the coming weekend match against Liverpool) would see Harry's magic of transforming our team from a "paper tiger" to a force to be reckoned with.

The real test begins. The players are beginning to see their full potential, and the climb out of the bottom rut starts now.

Bring 'em on, Gunners (and Pool).

COYS!!!!!!
