Wigan Athletic vs Tottenham Hotspur
The 2 teams meet again after just a few days, this time in the league, and in the JJB Stadium.
Though we have beaten them 3-1 at the Lane, this time round it may be different - first, it's away for us (need not for me to mention why). Secondly, Steve Bruce has the whole squad to choose from in their home fixture. Lastly, we have to contend with their forwards Heskey and Zaki, who did not have major parts in the FA Cup game against us. The Latics are now in 7th, and in top form.
But this time, we have an addition to the strike force - Jermain Defoe. The prodigal son has returned and is itching to start for the Cockerels in the first game in Spurs colours. Getting out of the "twilight zone" of the EPL is still the current priority for us.
