Weekend Review - 20 Nov 2010

Manchester United vs Wigan

"It seem that Man Utd has become an average team overnight."
- Gary, 20 Nov 2010

Had we lost this match against Aston Villa, it will end our longest winning streak since the start of the season. For this match, we gained one point rather than lost two points for it. Aston Villa matched Man Utd in every department. It seem that Man Utd has become an average team overnight.

With a useless friendlies during the mid-week and spotlights were shone on Andy Carroll and Kevin Nolan of Newcastle, it was a blessing in disguise that only Rio Ferdinand was selected for the friendly.

Back to domestic front where we are still trailing Chelsea 3 points, we host Wigan which 3 points are guraranteed as Wigan have not beaten Man Utd since they came through from the Championship. Time to unleash Wayne Rooney? Dont anticipate too much about it as I dont think he would perform just what he did last season.

Man Utd Team News: Owen Hargreaves, Michael Owen, Ryan Giggs, Anderson, Rafael and Antonio Valencia are out.

Wigan Team News: Roman Golobart, James McCarthy and Emmerson Boyce are out.

Odds and Analysis: Man Utd is giving 1.75 handicap. Take Man Utd for the win.
