Midweek Review (30 Sept 2008)

Aalborg vs Man United

"London got 2 teams in the first place of the league table."
-Gary, 30/9/2008

Bolton's match is just like a walkover match to me. No need to play also got 3 points in the bag. Why? Because referee supports Man United.

Just because Cristiano Ronaldo gets to play in the match, and get felled into the box doesnt mean you have to give Man United the dubious penalty.

I just realised something. London got 2 teams in the first place in the league table. Chelsea been the top. Tottenham at the foot of the table. Im sorry to say that, but Tottenham's season might go from bad to worse. Im still staying to my pre-season review in the Community Shield. It's either Chelsea or Liverpool. As for darkhorses, im going for Aston Villa or Abu Dhabi Man City.

Man Utd head to Denmark for Champions League action this mid-week. With Blackburn to face at the weekend, i think Fergie will give some fringe players first team action. But no Dong Fangzhuo, no Saha, no Fraizer Campbell, no Chris Eagles, who are the luckier players will be fielded? Simple reason, they are in 3 competitions right now. And once December comes, they have to jet to Japan for the World Club Championships.

Aalborg Team News: Full team to select from since there is no news about them.

Man Utd Team News: Michael Carrick and Owen Hargreaves are out.

Odds and Analysis: Man Utd giving 1.5 ball handicap at 2.06. Maybe another walkover match to me. Against Danish teams, Man Utd have mixed fortunes. They beat Bronby 6-2 in 1996, lost to Copenhagen 1-0 2 seasons ago.
