Midweek Review - 1 Dec 2009

Manchester United vs Tottenham Hotspur

"Chelsea could be in a disadvantage where half of the first team is Africans."
-Gary, 1 Dec 2009

Portsmouth did put up a good fight but they just dont have the spirit when Harry Redknapp is around. Concidentially, Man Utd is facing Spurs with Harry Redknapp at the helm.

Now in Dec period where all the teams will have a rough gauge of where they are standing now, and with the festive period of playing 3 matches in 5 days, it will more or less where you could see who need to put in more effort to avoid the drop or improve further to climb up the standings. January will be the period where managers get to improve areas where the first half of season lacking in and make reinforcements.

Man Utd and Chelsea seem to be the only team that could last the pace till the end of the season. However with the African Cup Nations Cup in January and the World Cup in the next 6 months, Chelsea could be in a disadvantage where half of the first team is Africans.

Man Utd Team News: Expect Fergie to put out a 2nd team and rest the 1st team for weekend action.

Spurs Team News: Harry Redknapp to choose Robbie Keane, Jermaine Jenas, Alan Hutton and Gareth Bale for this match.

Odds and Analysis: Man Utd is giving 0.25 handicap. Take Man Utd for the win.
