Panathinaikos vs Tottenham Hotspur
Coming off a high after the weekend’s victorious exertions at Old Trafford, Spurs now turn their attention to Europe as we play our second group stage match.
We will be looking to get a result from this tricky away tie. Panathinaikos are a team in turmoil and were in the Champions League qualifiers just a few weeks ago. There is reports of infighting and the club is also having financial issues.
AVB is taking this competition seriously and will field a side capable of winning the match. Lloris should get a start in goal as Friedel did not travel. If Spurs starts well tonight, I can see that we will come away with the result we want. My wish is that we win without injury to the key players.
