Tottenham Hotspur vs Manchester City FC

Spurs and Man City are currently the only teams that are undefeated this season in the EPL, and these two will face each other on Sunday at White Hart Lane.

Pochettino will likely throw everything into this game, and we will see the best XI starting off. Son will feature in the lineup after his recent goals brought precious moments for Spurs. Dier, Rose and Dembele will have their fitness checked before this crucial match.

Guardiola will be missing Kompany, De Bruyne and Delph, but he has Aguero, Silva and Sterling up his sleeves.

This is definitely the match of the weekend.

Manchester United vs Stoke City

A narrow win against Zorya, and we have the first 3 points after 2 games played in Europa League. And next we have Stoke City visiting us with the 3rd home game in a row.

We will continue to chase Man City as they will face Tottenham as their first big test to the title.

Man Utd is giving 1.5 handicap. Doubt Man Utd will clear the handicap. But expect Man Utd will win the game.

Midweek Preview - 28 Sep 2016

Manchester United vs Zorya Luhansk

A major change in the line up work wonder for the whole team. Rooney was dropped and we scored 4 goals without reply against Leicester in the first half. Although we took our foot off in the second half, the damage has been done.

Furthermore, we also seen in this match that there is unpredictability from the players. Short passes, long balls but we are attacking forward, instead of passing sideways.

We will have Zorya Luhansk, a team from Ukraine, playing against us in the Europa League. Little is known against them as we only know the well known Shahtak Donetsk. Another match that we will see major changes to keep fresh legs for the domestic league.

Man Utd is giving 2 balls handicap. We need a win against them to keep hopes alive in progressing to the next round. Take Man Utd for the win.

Results - EPL Prediction League Match Weekend 24 - 25 Sep 2016

Well that didn't take long at all, for me to be once again in the familiar territory of bottom half of the table, thanks to the interestingly palindrome results. Voxeros maintains his 3-point lead at the top, but the gap between all players is still close. 

Congratulations to cool402 and Mr White for managing to obtain 6-pointer status over the weekend.

Fixture Focus - Spurs (24 Sep 2016)

Middlesbrough FC vs Tottenham Hotspur

Spurs will be travelling to the Riverside Stadium, home of Middlesbrough FC.

After a good start in the League Cup campaign, Spurs is now back to EPL action. Kane will be out injured for quite a while, so Janssen is filling his place for this game and in the weeks to come. 

For Boro, besides Da Silva and Leadbitter who are out injured, Karanka has the whole team at his disposal for their home game.

This match is also a gathering of sorts for the 2 managers, who had played each other before during their playing days in Spain.

Weekend Preview - 24 Sep 2016

Manchester United vs Leicester City

We are through to the 4th round of EFL Cup and face the blue half of Manchester next month. Now we have 3 straight home games which Mourinho have built a fortress in Chelsea, Porto, Inter Milan and Real Madrid. Hope he can continue his "home form" in Manchester United.

We will have Leicester City visiting us and we are now 6 points behind Manchester City. The task of catching is harder now due to the face that Man City are getting stronger every game. But then again, they have not face any big teams test yet.

Manchester United is giving 0.75 handicap. We have faced them in the Community Shield and won 2-1. Same scoreline as well?

Tottenham Hotspur vs Gillingham FC

(League Cup Third Round)

Spurs is kicking off the League Cup campaign with hosting the League One side Gillingham.

Kane is out due to an ankle injury incurred from the Sunderland game, so we may see Janssen deputising him for this match. Pochettino could also field some youngsters in the line-up.

Gillingham FC would be missing midfielder O'Hara.

This should be a walk in the park for Spurs, barring any surprises.

Northampton vs Manchester United

3rd straight loss and things are not looking good for Mourinho and team. Watford rightfully win against Man Utd was the first since 1986.

Anyway, we have the English Football League Cup distraction. We will face Northampton in Sixfields Stadium. Mourinho could make changes to the entire line up and give the reserves the chance for some action.

Man Utd is giving 1.5 handicap. Team morale not looking good at the moment. No punt on this match.
