Southampton vs Manchester United

A loss to Tottenham result us not able to reach the minimum target of the domestic season. We have to pin our hopes on next week Europa League final against Ajax in Stockholm.

We will play our game in hand against Southampton and end our season this weekend against Crystal Palace.

Man Utd is giving a level ball. Seem like is a foregone conclusion that Man Utd have set their sights at Europa League final. No punt.

Weekend Preview - 14 May 2017

Tottenham vs Manchester United

We progressed to the Europa League final and face Ajax at Stockholm. We win, we will have Champions League football next season.

We will head to White Hart Lane to face Tottenham, and as Tottenham have nothing to play for since Chelsea is the champions for this season. We still have a slim chance to finish 4th.

Man Utd is eating 0.5 handicap. With a depleted team and Spurs superb home form, hope Man Utd will dent Spurs chance again.

Midweek Review - 11 May 2017

Manchester United vs Celta Vigo

A loss to Arsenal, and with Arsenal winning their game in hand push our position to 6th. With little hopes of finishing 4th, we need to win the 2nd leg of the semi final Europa League against Celta Vigo.

With potential finalist being Ajax and final held in Sweden, we are prepared to forgo our league expectation and go all out in our Europa League quest.

Man Utd giving 1 ball handicap. Since we have a goal to our advantage, we will either go for the kill or park Boeing aeroplane at the goalpost to progress. No punt on the safe side.

Weekend Preview - 7 May 2017

Arsenal vs Manchester United

We have an advantage to qualify for the final in the Europa League after scoring an important away goal against Celta Vigo. And the potential opponents could be Ajax after they won 4-1 against Lyon in the first leg.

With 5 games left and a potential final game coming up, Mourinho would wish both side of the competition could help him realize the dreams of finishing 4th in the Premier League or win the Europa League to qualify for next season Champions League.

We will head to Emirates Stadium to face Arsenal. As Arsenal have 2 games in hand and if we deal them another blow, they have no chances of finishing 4th this season.

Man Utd is eating 0.5 handicap. We shall eat the handicap and go for a win in Man Utd.

Midweek Review - 4 May 2017

Celta Vigo vs Manchester United

We lose 2 points on a game that we need to win to have a better advantage on the 4th spot. However, our neighbours also lost 2 points to pull away. So we are still 1 point behind on the converted spot.

We will now head to Spain on the 1st leg of the Europa League semi final against Celta Vigo. With so many injuries in the treatment room, we have to take a cautious approach for the remaining games.

With a level ball handicap, it could be a draw game. No punt.

Manchester United vs Swansea City

It is a one point gained rather than 2 points lost as we have alot of injuries and suspension in the last lap of the season.

Swansea City will visit Old Trafford, fighting against relegation as they are in the final spot with 2 points to safety.

An easy win over Burnley bring us to close 1 point gap between us and Man City.

And now we have to play one game in hand with our neighbours for bragging rights to who will qualify for Champions League and Europa League next season.

Burnley vs Manchester United

We progressed to the semi-final of the Europa League, but at the expense of injuries to Rojo and Zlatan. We will meet Celta Vigo in the semi-final.

We will now head to Turf Moor to face Burnley where their home form is better than ours.

We secured an important win against Chelsea to cut the gap to 4 points for the 4th place Man City with 2 games in hand.

With confidence sky high, we face Anderlecht for the 2nd leg for the quarter-final of the Europa League. Hopefully a convincing win to send us through to the semi-final.

Manchester United vs Chelsea

We carried an away goal advantage back for the second leg Europa League against Anderlecht.

And now we have an important match against Chelsea. We need to stop them at their tracks to runaway with the title. Though is a matter of when they will win the title, we also need to win to cement a place at 4th.

We still have 2 games in hand against Man City and Southampton. We are also hoping that Liverpool and Man City will drop points to help us.

We are back to sixth after the disappointing draw against Everton. With 9 games left, we have to face 4 top teams mainly Chelsea, Man City, Arsenal and Tottenham. The only way left to go back to Champions League is to win the Europa League

We will head to Stadium of Light to face former manger David Moyes. Stuck at the foot of the table, we need to inflict maximum damage to catch up the leaders.

Manchester United vs Everton

Another 2 point loss to an undeserving draw to West Brom. Top 4 is out for us considering the remaining games that we have, it is the toughest run in.

The only option left that we had is to win the Europa League and go through the back door route to Champions League.

We will host Everton and having 2 games in hand, we can only take 1 game at a time. Not looking optimistic at the moment.

Man Utd is having 1 ball handicap. With Zlatan Ibrahimovic returning from suspension, I doubt he will able to handle Everton single-handedly. No punt.

With 2 games in hand and 9 points between 2nd to 7th place, it is a squeaky bum time. From now till end Apr, we have 9 games to play. That is equivalent of playing 3 games per week.

We will head to Riverside Stadium to face a managerless Boro as Aitor Karanka got the sack.

Manchester United vs Rostov

We have crashed out of the FA Cup quarter final to Chelsea with an unfortunate goal. Now we are left with the Europa League against Rostov and the Premier League. Though the Premier League title is really out of reach with 17 points and 1 game in hand.

We will face Rostov in the second leg and hold an away goal advantage. If we cant finish the league 4th or higher, the Europa League is our only chance and "backdoor" ticket back to the Champions League.

Chelsea vs Manchester United

A draw against Rostov and we carry the away goal rule advantage to the 2nd leg. With Zlatan Ibrahimovic suspended against Chelsea in the FA Cup, he will have fresh legs for the 2nd leg.

We will head to Stamford Bridge to face Chelsea in the quarter final of the FA Cup. Mourinho is seeking revenge and will need to find a way past Chelsea.

Rostov vs Manchester United

We lost 2 points and now the lead widen once again for not taking the chances. But the silver lining is that we still have a game in hand to overcome the handicap.

We will head to Russia to face Rostov for the Round of 16 game in the Europa League. Zlatan is banned for 3 games for elbowing an opponent in the last league game. So he could be use for both legs against Rostov.

Manchester United vs Bournemouth

Second silverware of the season where we won the EFL Cup against Southampton. We also overtook Liverpool on the most trophies won at the moment.

We will have a home game against Bournemouth and is in a strong position to jump to 4th position. We are 15 points off the pace against leader Chelsea despite having a game in hand. But we are taking 1 game at a time. After this game, will be another round of fixtures congestion ahead.

Manchester United vs Southampton

We win 1-0 at St Etienne and will face Rostov in the next round. However, we will have fixtures congestion again in 2 weeks time as we have to play 6 games with an FA Cup game against Chelsea in midweek out of nowhere. And as such, it annoys Jose Mourinho.

We will have a league cup final against Southampton at Wembley this weekend. We have reach this far and hope the players will deliver.
