Results - EPL Prediction League Match Final Weekend 21 May 2017

Congratulations to ianrush on being crowned the Champion for EPL Prediction League 2016/2017! edwinsng gave it all he had to close the gap, but it was insurmountable in the end. It is now ianrush's 2nd time winning, and he joins a short list of players gunning for the third, along with Voxeros, KingMeng and Everton.  

ianrush's victory is further sweetened by also being the top scorer on the Marksmen Board with 9 exact predictions, followed by Voxeros, Bedokian and myself at 8 games each.

Results - EPL Prediction League Match Weekend 13 - 14 May 2017

As the PPL 2016/2017 season draws nearer to a close, we see ianrush still holding a commanding lead at the top, but it's not over yet for edwinsng. He managed to keep pace with an exact prediction, bringing his total in the Marksmen Board to 7 games. 

ianrush also leads the Marksmen Board at 9 games, but he has to contend with Bedokian and Voxeros instead for that title. Once again, well done to Bedokian for submitting an accurate scoreline four weeks in a row, climbing up to 8 games.

This two-horse race may end with a surprise twist, so stay tuned!

The draw result at Turf Moor causes ianrush to loosen his grip on the PPL title slightly, allowing edwinsng to close the gap to 9 points. Voxeros sees the runner-up spot slipping further from his grasp, no thanks to Man Utd suffering its first defeat since October.       

A special mention is due to Bedokian for submitting an accurate prediction three weeks in a row, bringing his total in the Marksmen Board to 7 games.

It was an amazing weekend which saw Man Utd dominate Chelsea at Old Trafford to throw the EPL title race mathematically open. Here at the PPL table, ianrush continued to secure a commanding lead that edwinsng may be hard-pressed to overcome as the season draws to a close. Voxeros, on the other hand, is still poised to take over the runner-up spot.
