Fixture Focus - Spurs (29 Oct 2016)

Tottenham Hotspur vs Leicester City FC

League action is back again this coming weekend, and we are hosting the reigning EPL Champions Leicester City. 

Spurs had just emerged from a loss to Liverpool in the midweek League Cup action, but most of the first teamers did not start at that game, so they would be rested for the weekend match. Kane is still unavailable but is recovering, while Sissoko is suspended due to violent conduct.

Most of the members of the squad that brought Leicester to the title last season are expected to show up against Spurs, like Vardy, Mahrez and Drinkwater, to name a few. However, the Foxes have lost all of their EPL away games this season, and it seems Champions League football is their priority.

Champions vs potential champions. A big match-up.

Weekend Preview - 29 Oct 2016

Manchester United vs Burnley

A victory against our neighbour send us to the quarter-final of the English League Cup. We will face West Ham in the next round.

We will have Burnley visiting us next and we are 6 points away from the title challengers. Every point counts to narrow down the gap.

Man Utd is giving 2 ball handicap. Is better to stay away from such a high handicap.

Midweek Preview - 26 Oct 2016

Manchester United vs Manchester City

A shocking heavy defeat by Chelsea and it is not the Manchester United that we see at all, not even post-Fergie time.

Changes will be done as we will have our second derby for a cup competition. Both teams will send their second team, and hoping that we will come out victorious.

A level ball handicap. Need this victory to boost the morale.

Fixture Focus - Spurs (22 Oct 2016)

AFC Bournemouth vs Tottenham Hotspur

For this weekend's fixture, it is an away game at The Vitality Stadium, home of Bournemouth.

Kane and Alderweireld are out of the starting lineup, and Rose is doubtful due to his knock on the foot in the Champions League game. Son is likely to be deployed upfront along with Janssen.

The Cherries are at the back of 3 consecutive home wins, with a big one recently against Hull City. They would be hoping to have a 4th and prevent Spurs from topping the table (at least for a few hours).

Weekend Preview - 23 Oct 2016

Chelsea vs Manchester United

A comprehensive victory over Fenerbahce with Pogba controlling the midfield. With this result, Man Utd and Feyenoord are well-positioned to progress to the next round. Hopefully no shooting in the own foot again.

We will head to Stamford Bridge where Mourinho will receive a reception, not sure if it is a good one or bad one.

Man Utd eat 0.25 handicap. Another bus parking draw? We gladly take it.

Fixture Focus - Spurs (18 Oct 2016)

Bayer 04 Leverkusen vs Tottenham Hotspur

(Champions League Group Stage)

For the third group game, Spurs will be travelling to BayArena, home of German Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen.

Pochettino would want to keep the momentum going for Spurs, even though they were held to a draw by WBA over the weekend despite dominating that game. Son is likely in the lineup, and this fixture is sort of a homecoming for him since he left Bayer a year ago to join us.

Leverkusen has an ace up its sleeves - ex-Manchester United Hernandez, who had helped them scored 4 goals in the last 5 games.

This would be an interesting game to watch.

Midweek Preview - 20 Oct 2016

Manchester United vs Fenerbahce

We held a goal-less draw with Liverpool and it is a 1 point gained rather than 2 points lost. And we are slowly closing the gap with just 5 points apart from the top.

We will have Fenerbahce visiting us and it just 72hrs of rest for us. We will also see Robin van Persie returning to Old Trafford to face us.

Man Utd is giving 1 ball handicap. We still have 3 games left after this match and at the moment, is no moment to panic as we still have chances to progress to the next stage.

Fixture Focus - Spurs (15 Oct 2016)

West Bromwich Albion vs Tottenham Hotspur

EPL action is back again, and Spurs will be heading to The Hawthorns to visit West Bromwich Albion.

With a Champions League match against Bayer Leverkusen this coming Tuesday, Pochettino has to make some decisions on who to start, especially the front position with Son or Janssen. The lineup against Man City worked well and I guess the manager would want that for Tuesday's game instead of today's.

WBA is missing Brunt and would be trying to have late fitness tests for Rondon and Fletcher. They could rely on an ex-Spurs player, though, in the form of Chadli, to cause some threats at goal.

Fixture Focus - Spurs (2 Oct 2016)

Tottenham Hotspur vs Manchester City FC

Spurs and Man City are currently the only teams that are undefeated this season in the EPL, and these two will face each other on Sunday at White Hart Lane.

Pochettino will likely throw everything into this game, and we will see the best XI starting off. Son will feature in the lineup after his recent goals brought precious moments for Spurs. Dier, Rose and Dembele will have their fitness checked before this crucial match.

Guardiola will be missing Kompany, De Bruyne and Delph, but he has Aguero, Silva and Sterling up his sleeves.

This is definitely the match of the weekend.
