Weekend Preview - 27 Aug 2016
Hull City vs Manchester United
100% record at the moment, 2 goals from Ibrahimovic for the first home game to a fast start. Something that we dont see before even from Alex Ferguson time as Man Utd are traditionally a slow starter. We also maintain pace with Man City, Chelsea and Hull City - surprise team at the moment as they dont have a permanent manager, no signings and yet win 2 games as well.
Hull City is currently managed by an ex-Red Devils management. Also known as the right hand man of Fergie, Mike Phelan has been Man Utd assistant manager since 2008 till Fergie retirement in 2013.
Man Utd is giving 1.25 handicap. Man Utd is playing more freely and players are gaining more confidence as the season is underway. I would say Man Utd will clear the handicap and go into the international break with 9 points.

Fixture Focus - Spurs (27 Aug 2016)
Tottenham Hotspur vs Liverpool FC
I would qualify this one as the game of the week, though it is ironic that it would be the first match to be played over the weekend.
Spurs are playing hosts to the red half of Merseyside. Other than Lloris and Dembele, who are sidelined due to injury and suspension respectively, most of the Spurs lineup is ready and available.
Liverpool is trying to shake off their inconsistent start to the season. Coutinho is doubtful for this game but Mane is likely to return.
There is only one thing for me to say for this game - COYS!

Weekend Preview - 19 Aug 2016
Manchester United vs Southampton
We have started the season well with a win against Bournemouth. We literally strolled along the park with 3 goals from Mata, Rooney and Ibrahimovic. And we are now at the top of the standing.
Tonight match is also the start where matches are played on Fri night. These matches are moved not for television revenue, but on the advise from police agencies as they have to deploy manpower if there are simultaneous matches are played in one area.
We will have Progba back after servicing a ban that was carried forward from his time in Serie A. Tonight will see whether he is able to perform as what he did in Juventus or cracked under the pressure as the world most expensive footballer in the planet.
Man Utd is giving 1 ball handicap. Man Utd will win this match but wont be able to clear the handicap outright. No punt.

Fixture Focus - Spurs (13 Aug 2016)
Everton FC vs Tottenham Hotspur
2016 is a good year for sports - we just had the Euros, the Olympics is ongoing, and the 2016/2017 EPL season is starting soon (and also not forgetting we are back in the UEFA Champions League after 6 years).
First game for the Lilywhites will be an away trip to the blue half of Merseyside, Everton. New arrival Wanyama is set to debut in this game, while Vertonghen is likely to get a green light after an injury incurred during the Euros.
New Everton manager Koeman will start some of his new players as well, like goalie Stekelenburg and midfielder Gueye.
Expect some jitters as a few of the players may be adjusting to season opening.

Weekend Preview - 14 Aug 2016
Bournemouth vs Manchester United
First game, first title under Jose Mourinho. Hope that continues. Our transfer market in recruit players is more or less done with Paul Progba coming back on a world record transfer.
We will head to Vitality Stadium to face Bournemouth for the first game of the season. We need to get a head start as we will also be seeing Arsenal vs Liverpool on the same weekend. That could be advantage to us.
Man Utd is giving 0.5 handicap. Take Man Utd for the win and the handicap.

Weekend Preview - 7 Aug 2016
Manchester United vs Leicester City
Welcome to the new season of the Premier League. Today match is the curtain raiser of 9 months marathon to the Premier League title.
We have a new manager Jose Mourinho with 3 new signings. Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Eric Bailly and Henrikh Mkhitaryan. We are still waiting for the 4th signing to be conclude and we dont have to know who is it.
This season, we will also be seeing all the top foreign managers managing the top teams in the League. We will get to see Antonio Conte, Pep Guardiola, Jurgen Klopp, Jose Mourinho, Arsene Wenger, Claudio Ranieri, Mauricio Pochettino to see who will be the winner at the end of the season.
Man Utd is giving 0.5 handicap. We need to win this to show our intent. We have wasted 3 years and is time to get back to the top and back to the Champions League the following season.
