West Bromwich Albion vs Manchester United
"Wonder Fergie will call Fabian Barthez to play as an outfield player?!?!"
- Gary, 28 Jan 2009
Now we know Fergie's definition of scarifice to achieving 4 trophies with more injuries. With the Fifth Round tie against either Derby (again!) or Nottingham Forest, and Champions League tie against Inter Milan, there is chances of seeing youngsters from the Reserves.
Defence depleted, midfield depleted, strike force also depleted. Wonder Fergie will call Fabian Barthez to play as an outfield player?!?!
The game against W.B.A is the last game for the hectic January schedule. By the way, does anyone still remember Rafa Benitez's infamous rant about Fergie been favoured by the FA? I took a look at the Man Utd's fixtures and the whole Premier League fixtures. And Rafa Benitez does have a point where the fixtures are favouring Man Utd now, where they have more rest than the opponents. Though Fergie denies it and wanted to send a representive to oversee the next season's fixtures. Time passes so fast that January is ending.
We are currently level on points with Liverpool and have a game in hand against Fulham. Feb to Apr is the period of time where we truly see who is challenging for the title and who is going to relegated this coming May.
W.B.A Team News: Leon Barnett, Jonas Olsson, Luke Moore, James Morrison, Gianni Zuiverloon, Abdoulaye Meite, Ishmael Miller and Neil Clement are out.
Man Utd Team News: I dread this part. Park Ji Sung, Rafael, Wayne Rooney, Anderson, Nani, Jonny Evans, Patrice Evra, Rio Ferdinand, Wes Brown and Owen Hargreaves are out.
Odds and Analysis: With both team are down with injuries and Man Utd is giving 1.25 handicap, Man Utd might nick the odd goal yet again. No punt for me.
Disclaimer: This review is entirely on my own views and opinion. I didn’t point a gun at you to ask you to follow. If you want to bet on this game, do so at your own risk. Pls bet within limits. Good luck.
