Midweek Review - 28 Dec 2015

Manchester United vs Chelsea

It is a weird feeling to see your team lose again and celebrating it. I have never been so harsh when David Moyes fail to meet the expectation. At least he bring the team further in the Champions League and gained more points in the Premier League than LVG.

When you walk out of a pre-match press conference when all the stats are against you, or give a stern glare at the post-match conference, you already know the time is up. You are on borrowed time, players' body langauge show that they are not willing to fight for you even though they stand up for you, which i personally think is just a PR act. LVG, please do what you have to do to have a dignified exit.

We have 48hrs to gather and face Chelsea at the worst possible time. It could be LVG's last game in charge for 2015.

It's a level ball handicap. No punt.

Weekend Review - 26 Dec 2015

Stoke City vs Manchester United

Well, kind of expected on the defeat from Norwich. And now the vultures are flying around LVG's head. There are alot of speculation at the moment where he need 2 points from the next 2 games to prolong the execution. Against Stoke and Chelsea? To gain 2 points? Mourinho is waiting at the side to be appointed as the next manager?

We macham like kids knowing Santa Claus will come, but have to wait in suspense. Sorry LVG, even though this is your last job in your managerial career, we just couldnt see any improvement at the moment. Perhaps the players are unmotivated, same scenario as Chelsea camp.

We will head to Britannia Stadium to face Stoke in an afternoon kick off. We really hope Mark Hughes will do both fans and LVG a favour by winning against us and relieving his duties.

Man Utd is giving 0.25 handicap. Not going to fall for this again after the Bournemouth game. No punt till Man Utd improve or change their plan/tactics whatever you want to call it.

This was an entirely pointless (pun intended) week for the top 6, thanks largely to Liverpool's dismal away result. KingMeng continues to hold on to first placing for another week.

Fixture Focus - Spurs (19 Dec 2015)

Southampton FC vs Tottenham Hotspur

Next up, Southampton at St Mary's Stadium.

It is a homecoming of sorts for Spurs manager Pochettino, who had led the Saints on a good run in the 13/14 season, and Alderweireld, who was out on loan there last season. The loss to Newcastle last weekend may have rattled the team a bit, especially since that game broke our unbeaten run in the EPL, but hope our boys would find strength going forward.

Southampton has been on a slump of sorts, losing 3 of their last 4 EPL games. The table is very tight and Koeman knew a slip-up would see them in the relegation zone in no time.

A good game is on the way later.

Weekend Review - 19 Dec 2015

Manchester United vs Norwich City

LVG, you have seen how Jose Mourinho got booted out of Chelsea even though is mutual consent. When players revolt in the dressing room, you have no voice in it either. And when you use other tactics than to attack, other voices will make it louder. Now even our management is considering your position with all the results going against your way.

Injuries at the moment is not considered an excuse as there are other players can contribute to the goal department. You can sold all the best players that were under Fergie, and replaced it with the players that you have bought, fine. But please get them to score. Not hold the ball and pass it around the whole match.

We will host Norwich and have 6 points gap from surprise leaders Leicester. By right we have no problem winning against Norwich as history have shown it. But we are doubtful about it.

Man Utd give 1.25 handicap. Since the goals have dried up, how the heck they are able to score a shit load of goals and convince us otherwise?

Results - EPL Prediction League Match Weekend 12 - 13 Dec 2015

It was only a matter of time before we have another Perfect 10, and that honour goes to Voxeros! Well done!

However, the point boost was not enough to overthrow KingMeng, as he too managed to get both predictions correct and continues to hold on to a 2-point lead at the top of the table.

We see progress in marksmen as well, thanks to the result at Villa Park. Congrats to Voxeros for taking the lead with 4 games, while ianrush and KingMeng added another notch to their totals. Everton also managed his first exact prediction of this season.

We're nearing the half-way mark of the season and the tussle between the top 6 is intensifying. Stay tuned!
