Results - EPL Prediction League Match Weekend 12 - 13 Dec 2015

It was only a matter of time before we have another Perfect 10, and that honour goes to Voxeros! Well done!

However, the point boost was not enough to overthrow KingMeng, as he too managed to get both predictions correct and continues to hold on to a 2-point lead at the top of the table.

We see progress in marksmen as well, thanks to the result at Villa Park. Congrats to Voxeros for taking the lead with 4 games, while ianrush and KingMeng added another notch to their totals. Everton also managed his first exact prediction of this season.

We're nearing the half-way mark of the season and the tussle between the top 6 is intensifying. Stay tuned!

Housekeeping Notes: All of this season's tables will eventually be kept in a Flickr photoset.

Fixture Focus - Spurs (13 Dec 2015)

Tottenham Hotspur vs Newcastle United FC

Spurs will be playing hosts to the Magpies, who are sitting within the relegation zone at the moment.

Spurs has qualified for the Round of 32 in the Europa League, but now have to get down back to business at the EPL. Though we are having a streak of 14 unbeaten games, the past 2 games were draws and having win results would mean better chances for getting the top 4.

McClaren's men had just emerged from a victory against Liverpool and looking set to repeat that feat against us, so we are expecting to see the same lineup as per last week.

The EPL is getting more and more exciting and unpredictable, with everyone having a chance to beat anyone. Look forward to a good game.

Weekend Review - 12 Dec 2015

Bournemouth vs Manchester United

People hate to say this when you refuse to change to the usual team approach and in the end, we know what is coming for you. Didnt we told you so?

We are in the Europa League after getting knocked out by Wolfsburg in the Champions League. We could face RVP's Fenerbahce or Gary Neville's Valencia. We also got Southampton in the FA Cup 3rd round.

There are speculation that Pep Guardiola could take a year of sabbatical leave after leaving Bayern Munich at the end of this season to take over Man Utd in 17/18 season. The possibility of facing Jose Mourinho, provided he is still around in Chelsea, and Jurgen Klopp in the same league.

Anyway, back to league action and we are facing a mini injury crisis with Chris Smalling, Rojo, Darmian, Shaw, Jones, Valencia, Rooney, Herrera in the treatment table. Bastian Schweinsteiger is banned for 3 games.

Man Utd is giving 0.25 handicap! Quite odd to see a big team give such a small handicap. Take Man Utd for the win and the handicap.

Midweek Review - 9 Dec 2015

Wolfsburg vs Manchester United

Dear LVG, 63% possession, 21 shots doesnt mean the team is attacking. We only have 1 shot on goal. Stop deceiving the fans that the team is attacking. And in the end, is a boring goal-less draw against West Ham.

And we have an important match against Wolfsburg and you admit that Man Utd will not win the Champions League this season even though we have a tight defence. I thought the minimum KPI is to reach the quarter final, and not drop to Europa League.

Wayne Rooney and Morgan Schneiderlin are not available for this important clash. But we hope we can qualify for the knockout rounds.

Man Utd is giving 0.25 handicap. Simple equation: as long CSKA Moscow win against PSV, and we draw this match, we qualify. But statistics have shown that PSV is undefeated at home and CSKA is winless away on the road, it is an uphill task. Thanks LVG for the frank assessment but the mess is created by you when we could have done better in the competition. Somehow we will end up drawing this match instead of winning it.

Results - EPL Prediction League Match Weekend 5 - 6 Dec 2015

KingMeng bounces back to reclaim the throne this week following an awesome showing by Leicester. Thanks to Klopp's rude awakening at St James' Park, this was another weekend of missed progress for half the table.

Good calls by cool402, ianrush, Everton and redherring as well.

Fixture Focus (Spurs) - 5 Dec 2015

West Bromwich Albion FC vs Tottenham Hotspur

Spurs will be travelling away to The Hawthorns, home of West Bromwich Albion, aka the Baggies.

With a record of 13 unbeaten runs, Spurs is now heading to the coveted top 4 placings of the EPL. Mason is out due to injury, but Alli is back from suspension.

Though WBA is well clear of the relegation zone, but with their inconsistent results, Pulis knew they have to work harder to survive the EPL, especially so that this is a season where any team could beat anyone.

Weekend Preview - 5 Dec 2015

Manchester United vs West Ham United

Jamie Vardy had scored in 11 successive matches and broke the record held by Ruud van Nistelrooy. Congrats to Vardy and hope that he continue to score so that the record is out of reach.

We will have West Ham visiting us and they have a knack of winning against top teams this season. They have won Arsenal, Liverpool, Man City and Chelsea. We hope that we are not one of the victim.

Wayne Rooney will be out of this match and at the moment, we also have the least goals conceded this season. However supporters have been branding LVG's brand of football boring and is anti-Man Utd's style. At the very least, we are currently at the top half of the table with 1 point behind leader Man City.

Man Utd is giving 1.25 handicap. With only 9 goals scored in 6 home match, I dont think Man Utd will clear this handicap. No punt.
