Weekend Review - 26 Apr 2015

Everton vs Manchester United

A disappointing loss to Chelsea send us down to fourth but our tough run has ended. And we have done exceptionally well, beyond our expectation. So I will take it as a cup half full rather than half empty.

With 5 games remaining, we are 7 points ahead of Liverpool as we are in the 4th place. As tonight game against Everton, we might pull off to 10 points and surge to second place.

Man Utd is giving 0.25 handicap. Take Man Utd for the win and the handicap.

Fixture Focus - Spurs (19 Apr 2015)

Newcastle United FC vs Tottenham Hotspur

Spurs will be going up north this weekend to Tyneside, facing Newcastle United.

Despite dismal recent performances, Pochettino is hoping to capitalize on the long list of absentees on the Newcastle team sheet, to boost their chances for a top 4 finish. However, Adebayor, Walker, Lloris and Vertonghen remained doubtful for this game.

As mentioned earlier, Carver's team sheet looked short due to numerous injuries and a couple of suspensions in the squad. Having lost 5 games in a row, he is hoping to reverse the rout at home ground against us.

Both teams will be doing their best.

Weekend Review - 18 Apr 2015

 Chelsea vs Manchester United

We have squashed and dented Man City's hope of retaining the title, and we also move 4 points clear of 4th placed Man City. Also having a higher chance of returning back to the European elite next season.

Although we are 8 points behind Chelsea and a point behind Arsenal, we still harbour hopes of winning the title as our confidence are sky high at the moment. We also on a match winning run and everything is going in our way.

Man Utd is eating 0.5 handicap. Take the handicap, I predict this match could be a draw.

The race is tight at the top with ihawk98 leading with a sliver of a solitary-point margin.

The once mighty KingMeng is losing steam on the final stretch, chasing the unprecedented three-peat.

Weekend Review - 12 Apr 2015

Manchester United vs Manchester City

There is a big twist as we have leapfrogged Man City in the league after their loss to Crystal Palace. And in a way, has make the last lap a photo finish to who will be the champion in the Premier League.

8 points behind Chelsea and having play a game more, we have not given up hope on the title race yet. We have another tough game next week which is against Chelsea. But we will take one game at a time.

Tonight game will also see where we will stand after the game as any point loss or gained will be a major impact to our goal next season - to be back in European Champions League.

This game will be a level handicap game. Take Man Utd for the win and handicap.

Weekend Review - 4 Apr 2015

Manchester United vs Aston Villa

After a short break from international duties, we are now in the final leg of the league where the final standings in the league will lead us to either European duties next season or none at all for the second season running which the board of directors will not allow at all.

We will have Aston Villa and we need the 3 points and have the chance to catch Man City where they are 2nd right now.

Burnley FC vs Tottenham Hotspur

Happy Easter everyone!

Eight games left in the season, and currently seventh place Spurs would have to work hard to get those coveted top 4 spots. At the moment we are 6 points away from that spot, so every game now really counts.

On the team lineup, Lloris is out due to a knee injury, which means very likely Vorm will step up to take the place in front of goal. Soldado is out as well, and Rose will be going through a fitness test to ascertain his place on the team bus.

Burnley at the moment has no injury concerns, with the exception of long term absentees Long and Marney.
