Whoa! It is HOT at the top as edwinsng caught up to co-lead with ihawk98 and dropping KingMeng to an unfamiliar 3rd!

Mr White's good showing bought him a ticket to join in the fray, just 4 points away from the lead and ianrush lies in 5th, still having an outside shot at the title.

Congrats to Everton for being the only 6-pointer of the week and next in line to getting that century.

Weekend Review - 22 March 2015

Liverpool vs Manchester United

Last weekend win against Tottenham was the best performance from Man Utd this season. And the irony is that there was any new signing from LVG that played last weekend.

Today rivalry against Liverpool couldnt get any bigger as both of us are challenging for European spot next season. And we wont be seeing Steven Gerrard in this match either after he opt to let his contract to run out this season and leave Liverpool at the end of this season. Without Gerrard on the pitch, Liverpool have been performing better.

Man Utd is eating 0.25. Take Man Utd for the handicap, but i reckon this match will end in a draw.

Fixture Focus–Spurs (EPL, 21 March 2015)

 

Tottenham Hotspur vs Leicester City 

 

Poch will have done everything possible to ensure that we bounce back from a 3-0 defeat at Old Trafford last weekend.

 

We are currently seventh in the Premier League table with 50 points from 29 matches, as many as six points behind fourth place Manchester United.  Meanwhile, Leicester find themselves rooted to the foot of the table with just 19 points from 28 games, seven points behind 17th-placed Sunderland.

The Foxes have won just two of the 23 Premier League games since their victory over United back in September. Nigel Pearson’s side will be huge underdogs for this afternoon’s encounter.

Expect a spirited fight from both sides as the points are important to each team, albeit for different reasons.

Weekend Review - 15 March 2015

Manchester United v Tottenham Hotspur

There goes the chance of a silverware this season as Arsenal break the record at Old Trafford and progress to the semi-final of the FA Cup.

We have the toughest run in to the end of the season, starting with Tottenham. And we need all the points that we need to go back to European competition next season.

Man Utd is giving 0.5 handicap. No punt for this match.

Every game counts from now till the end of the season, especially when the top 4 spots are getting harder to achieve nowadays.

As usual, Pochettino has a full, injury-free squad to pick and choose from for the trip up north to Manchester, enough said.

On the Red Devils side, van Gaal will not have the services of van Persie (injury), Evans and Di Maria (suspension).

Midweek Review - 10 March 2015

Manchester United vs Arsenal

With a hard fought won against Newcastle, we managed to hang on to stay at 4th in the standings. But the win was overshadowed by the spitting ban from Jonny Evans and Papiss Cisse.

We will have some FA Cup distraction this midweek as we will face Arsenal. And we hope to maintain the perfect record at home against Arsenal as they have not won in Old Trafford for quite awhile.

Man Utd is giving 0.25 handicap. Take Man Utd for the win and progress to the semi-final.

Fixture Focus - Spurs (7 Mar 2015)

Queens Park Rangers vs Tottenham Hotspur

Today we will be heading to Loftus Road, homeground of QPR. Being the FA Cup weekend, our game is one of the few EPL matches to be played.

Top 4 is still reachable and a priority for Pochettino, who is probably fielding the same lineup that met Swansea and Chelsea over the past week.

QPR is still not safe from the drop zone. Ramsey is awaiting news for the fitness of Onuoha, Isla and Furlong for this game.

A must win game for both, for different reasons - one for a prestige spot in Europe, and the other for survival. Expect a good one.

Fixture Focus–Spurs (EPL, 4 March 2015)

 

Tottenham Hotspur vs Swansea City 

 

This is when the rubber hits the road. In a space of 4 days last week, we dropped out of the Europa Cup and emerged as runners-up for the Capital One Cup. We now have only 12 matches to play left in the Premier League and therefore all efforts will be focused on getting that Top 4 position.

 

We start by playing against the visiting Swans and it is up to the gaffer to raise the spirits of the lads after the final. Would former Swans Vorm and Ben Davies face their old team? I would consider this like playing 12 cup finals for each of the the 12 matches left, taking them one at a time of course. Expect a strong squad to get the 3 points needed.

Midweek Review - 4 March 2015

Newcastle United vs Manchester United

We won against Sunderland to close the gap on leaders Chelsea despite playing a game more. In a way the title is wide open as Arsenal, Liverpool and Man Utd are back in the top 5 spots for European football next season.

We will head to Newcastle and we are not able to slip up any further. Because once we slip up, we will fall out of the European football with dark horse Southampton waiting to pounce. At the moment, we are seeing Southampton running out of breath before the campaign end. Either way, we really need to take this chance with our both hands.

Man Utd is giving 0.5 handicap. Take Man Utd to win and the handicap.
