Tottenham Hotspur vs Chelsea FC
Another London derby, I would describe this as the "Battle of the Ex-es". The two teams' Portuguese managers, Mourinho and AVB, were ex-Porto managers, ex-Chelsea managers (theoretically for one of them) and ex-working partners in football management.
Though AVB had complained about the fixture squeeze, Spurs had churned out good results over the midweek against Aston Villa in the League Cup game with a slightly different lineup than that against Cardiff. In this Saturday early kickoff, a likely change would be the return of Rose to leftback after recovering from a toe injury. Also, Lennon would be going through a late fitness test to determine whether he will start.
Mourinho will be without Van Ginkel due to injury incurred in the midweek League Cup clash. With Mata and Torres played during the midweek, it is unlikely, though possible, that they may start against us this weekend.
An ex-plosive fixture between the ex-es.
