Tottenham Hotspur vs Newcastle United FC
Before I begin, allow me to wish the readers of PangPuarLiap and my fellow writers a Happy Lunar New Year!
With the bad news of Defoe being out for 3 weeks, Adebayor is set to come in as our only other striking option, though he had just came back from the African Cup of Nations tournament and there are some doubts in his fitness. Perhaps we could adopt the Spanish formation of 4-6-0 that helped them won the World Cup. We do have a number of goalscoring midfielders.
Newcastle is seemingly on a high note now, with the recent victory against our western neighbours Chelsea. New signing Sissoko has already created an impact, and with his fellow Frenchmen Cabaye and Ben Arfa, as well as their Argentinian stalwarts Collocini and Gutierrez, the Magpies will be hard to beat, even at home.
Statistically speaking, we have the upper hand, for the Toons had only won once in their last 11 EPL games in London.
An early kick-off to kickstart a long weekend (for us here anyway).
COYS!!!!!
