The Race for Europe (as the current theme goes) heats up with this Easter weekend, as Spurs will be facing Norwich City at home, barely 48 hours after a 0-0 draw in the northeast of England. With our neighbours securing a victory, we are once again back fourth place. The good news is, our remaining fixtures are not against anyone from the current top half of the table (except for Fulham).
With pressure and exhaustion mounting, we are likely to see the same side as the one against Sunderland, with the question of whether how the squad and formation will go. For the past 2 games we have had Sandro being replaced by Lennon, and the usual tweaks of having Van der Vaart exchanged with either Saha or Defoe. How Redknapp play today is anybody’s guess. The only doubtful player would be our pacy Welsh winger Bale, who had sustained a knock in the game 2 days ago.
Norwich emerged from a draw as well and with it they had crossed the unofficial Premier League safety of 40 points. With the tight schedule, Lambert may be rotating his squad as well, with probably a few changes from the lineup that faced Everton.
A home win is likely, and it is a must if we want to continue the pressure for the top 4.
COYS!!!!!
