Newcastle United FC vs Tottenham Hotspur
After the international break, Spurs will be going up to Tyneside on the northeast, where so far it has not been a happy hunting ground for us, especially so at St James' Park, home of the black-and-white Toon Army.
We do have a few casualties on our end, with Adebayor and Van der Vaart needing last-minute fitness tests. Also, Lennon and Sandro are doubtful to start, and Kranjcar and Corluka were injured during the international games while they were with Croatia. We may be going in as a weakened side but still could pack a punch with the rest of our players.
Newcastle's players who were involved in the internationals returned relatively untouched, especially their new talisman Cabaye will be certain to start, alongside their goal machine Ba. With the exception of Guthrie, Ameobi and Williamson, Pardew has a buffet of players to choose from.
Are we able to break the jinx at St James' and continue our good run? We sure could find out in the game tomorrow.
COYS!!!!!
