Portsmouth FC vs Tottenham Hotspur
For the past 2 games I had quoted statistics to our favour, and somehow during the matches these favourable odds seem to disappear. For this game, I shall not say anything from the nether regions of numbers and....statistics.
Our fellow UEFA contestant really had a hard time in the last weekend, being the subject of a 6-0 thrashing by the blue half of Manchester. After our "surprise" win over the Magpies on Thursday, I believe Spurs should be confident of facing and winning another EPL team. Sitting at 20th spot after 5 games is not a very good idea for the manager, and the club, and the fans, and the players.....you know.
Defoe would be facing his old club. Question is, can he do what Mido did? I would say that he would score against us. However, with the Manchester City debacle, Redknapp would not be foolish to succumb to the same fate at Fratton Park in the coming game.
As for Spurs, well, I have 4 words to say - COYS!!!!!!
