ihawk98 steps on the gas this weekend and leaves all except KingMeng in his wake with two correct predictions. Mata's brace was ultimately insufficient for United to prevail at King Power stadium, much to the dismay of the rest of us.

Fixture Focus - Spurs (16 Dec 2017)

Manchester City FC vs Tottenham Hotspur

For the late Saturday game, Spurs will be heading to the blue half of Manchester in what will be the (dee) game for the weekend.

Pochettino would be putting in whoever he could to stop the Man City juggernaut, as well as to take more points to move further up the table.

Guardiola's men have been unstoppable this season, inflicting some high scoreline victories. Spurs are the only top side team they have yet met this season.

There was a glimpse of hope for a possible change in league leadership as ihawk98 stumbled significantly this week, allowing the others an opportunity to make up for lost ground. We'll see if this is the only time ihawk98 loosens his grip.

This weekend saw a bumper crop of marksmen thanks to the result at Selhurst Park. While ihawk98 continued to reign supreme, there was a reshuffling between Mr White and Voxeros for third place which ended in a three-horse race.

Fixture Focus - Spurs (25 Nov 2017)

Tottenham Hotspur vs West Bromwich Albion

It has been a roller coaster week of away games, with a 0-2 defeat to arch rivals Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium over the weekend, followed by a 2-1 victory over Borussia Dortmund at the Westfalenstadion in the midweek. For this Saturday's game, Spurs will host WBA at the Wembley Stadium.

Almost one third through the season, Spurs are at 4th position, with one point difference against 5th-placed Liverpool, 6th-placed Arsenal and 7th-placed Burnley. A very tight and precarious position, which means the Lilywhites have to gain a full 3 points from this one.

For WBA, this would be their first post-Pulis game after he was sacked early in the week. Caretaker manager Megson hopes to turn things around for the club, which sits above the relegation zone, starting with this away game.
